Job description

We are looking for a SAP SD IS Retail Solution Architect to deliver scalable SAP retail solutions across formats, channels, countries, and operating models. You will drive SAP Functional Consulting from requirements through WRICEF, configuration, and testing, partnering with offshore teams and module peers for integrated outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into advanced capabilities using best-in-class standard packages
• Identify necessary localization or enhancements, supported by clear business cases
• Create functional requirements to guide application design and development
• Propose solutions, configure the system, and write detailed WRICEF functional specifications
• Coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure technical solutions align with functional requirements and quality standards
• Conduct unit and functional testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Deliver best-in-class, scalable, sustainable, and integrated business solutions across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models
• Contribute to change management efforts by providing training content and supporting organizational transformation
• Provide 3rd level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across all European operating companies in scope
• Collaborate with peers across applications/modules to ensure seamless integration
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal cooperation
• Identify opportunities for business process and system enhancements in collaboration with the vendor, and promote continuous improvement by evaluating work processes and user experiences

Requirements

• Extensive track record of 10+ years delivering SAP application implementations
• Advanced knowledge of SAP SD and IS Retail modules
• Practical experience producing WRICEF functional specifications and configuring solutions
• Strong experience coordinating offshore development teams and overseeing integration and UAT testing
• Familiarity with change management approaches and creation of training content
• Capability to deliver 3rd level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across multiple operating companies
