Placement Baba seeks an SAP EWM Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design, governance, and system integration for a major SAP S/4HANA EWM transformation. You will translate high-velocity warehouse operations into scalable, standard SAP solutions.

The role requires 12+ years in SAP, with 8+ years in EWM and at least two full lifecycle S/4HANA EWM implementations as an Architect. Expect ownership of templates, wave management, and MHE/Bartender integrations.

Job Description

Role Overview. We are seeking an SAP EWM Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end design, solution governance, and system integration for an enterprise SAP S/4HANA EWM transformation. This role serves as the functional and architectural authority translating high-velocity warehouse operations, automated material handling, and rush-order fulfillment needs into scalable standard SAP solutions.

Requirements

• Architecture & Governance: Own the global template design for S/4HANA EWM inbound, outbound, internal warehouse operations, and master data hierarchies.
• Fulfillment & Strategy Design: Architect advanced wave management, priority-queue routing, dynamic wave splitting, and location/route-based picking strategies for rush and standard orders.
• VAS & Kitting: Define standard architecture for Value-Added Services (VAS), repacking, Kitting-to-Order, and Kitting-to-Stock integrated with PP/QM.
• Automation & Equipment Integration: Architect and govern integrations with Material Handling Equipment (MHE), AS/RS / vertical lift modules (e.g., Modula) via MFS or middleware, and enterprise print platforms (e.g., Bartender).
• Delivery Oversight: Lead blueprinting, gap-fit analyses, and technical spec reviews; provide leadership across testing phases, cutover, and multi-wave go-lives.

Required Experience & Skills. Experience: 12+ years of overall SAP experience, with 8+ years focused in SAP EWM and at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA EWM implementations as an Architect. Functional Depth: Expert-level mastery of core EWM (Inbound/Outbound, POSC/LOSC, Wave Management, HU Management, RF Framework, and Monitor). Integration Expertise: Proven design experience with Modula (or similar AS/RS via MFS), Bartender label systems, and core S/4HANA modules (PP, QM, ATP/delivery processing). Operations Knowledge: Strong background in high-velocity, high-throughput fulfillment environments (distribution centers, 3PL, or manufacturing). Stakeholder Management: Proven track record consulting for North American enterprise clients and managing cross-functional delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Official SAP Certification in S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management. Hands-on exposure to SAP Fiori for warehouse operations.
