Qualifications

• 7–8 years of SAP EWM experience in S/4HANA implementations or AMS.
• Strong understanding of EWM processes and S/4HANA integration.
• Experience with inbound/outbound processing, putaway, stock removal, and MS/WM activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EWM implementation and rollout activities including design, configuration, testing and Go-Live support.
• Configure key EWM processes: inbound/outbound, goods receipt/issue, putaway, warehouse tasks, stock movements, inventory, replenishment, HU management.
• Coordinate ERP-EWM integration, IDocs, master data and transactional data.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Consultant with 7–8 years of experience to support SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and ongoing AMS activities on SAP S/4HANA. The candidate should have strong functional knowledge of EWM processes, integration with S/4HANA, and experience in handling business-critical warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on SAP EWM implementation and rollout activities, including requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-Go-Live support.
• Configure and support key EWM processes such as:
  • Inbound and Outbound Processing
  • Goods Receipt / Goods Issue
  • Putaway and Stock Removal
  • Warehouse Task and Warehouse Order Management
  • Internal Warehouse Movements
  • Physical Inventory
  • Replenishment
  • Handling Unit Management
  • Warehouse Monitoring
  • Exception and Queue Management
  • Kitting / De-Kitting, where applicable
• Work extensively on integration between EWM and S/4HANA, including ERP-EWM integration, IDocs, queues, master data, and transactional data.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with relevant technical and functional teams for resolution.
• Support business users and key users during testing, Go-Live, Hypercare, and stabilization phases.
• Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Support data migration and validation activities related to EWM master and transactional data.
• Work with development teams on RICEFW/enhancement requirements, functional specifications, testing, and defect resolution.
• Support EWM-related cutover and Go-Live activities, including readiness checks, issue tracking, and post-Go-Live stabilization.
• Participate in solution discussions and recommend standard SAP solutions wherever possible.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Coordinate with distributed teams, business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and other application teams.

Technical / Functional Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP EWM on S/4HANA.
• Good understanding of Embedded EWM and/or Decentralized EWM concepts.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and EWM organizational structures.
• Experience with EWM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of ERP-EWM integration, including IDocs, queues, master data and transactional integration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA logistics processes, particularly integration with MM and SD.
• Knowledge of EWM RF framework / RF transactions is desirable.
• Experience with Handling Units, Warehouse Orders, Warehouse Tasks, Storage Control and Exception Handling.
• Understanding of EWM interfaces and integration with external systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of debugging and basic technical analysis to support issue resolution.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori / S/4HANA is desirable.
