Job summary

o9 Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a Solution Architect Consulting – Retail to lead end-to-end implementations of o9's planning platform for retail clients across geographies. You will design blueprints, map business requirements to the platform, configure solutions, and deliver training to global users.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years implementing planning applications for retail.
• Experience in merchandise financial planning, assortments, allocations, replenishment, and retail forecasting.
• End-to-end implementation lifecycle: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live.
• SQL/MDX/T-SQL or similar skills desired.
• Proficient Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle from design to delivery of o9 solutions.
• Capture customer requirements through workshops with business owners.
• Map requirements to the o9 platform and produce a phased blueprint.
• Configure solutions with a team to solve operations and supply chain problems.
• Coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution with customers.
• Develop and deliver Super User and End User training for a global user base.
• Mentor junior team members and support demos.
• Improve internal processes and product features based on feedback.

Solution Architect Consulting – Retail

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business process, o9’s solutions, technical architecture and value proposition.
• Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to delivery of o9’s solutions to customers across industries and geographies.
• Understanding of our customer’s requirements by leading workshops with functional and business owners of the processes and documenting it.
• Effectively map the business requirements into o9’s platform and come up with a clear, phased achievable blueprint.
• Work with a team of experts to configure, solution as per the design to solve deep operations / supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring process.
• Work with the customer to resolve issues and coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution process
• Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for a global user base.
• Actively help in improving internal processes and product features based on customer feedback by interfacing with the development and operations teams
• Support customer demonstrations
• Be a mentor and guide to junior members

What you’ll have…

• At least 6+ years of experience with implementing planning applications for Retail Industry is a MUST
• Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go -live
• Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
• Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key.
• Ability to simplify complexity
• Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
