Job summary

Power Bridge is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to engage with clients, understand business objectives, and craft end-to-end network and security solutions in a fast-paced integrator environment.

You will design robust architectures, prepare BoMs, and lead proposals while balancing must-have features with budget constraints. Mentoring junior staff and staying updated on tech trends will be integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years of total experience in networking and IT security with 3–4 years in a Solution Architect role at a System Integrator.
• Demonstrated track record of designing complex network and security solutions end-to-end.
• Hands-on background in implementation (40% of career) followed by progression into solutioning (60%).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand objectives, assess network and security postures, and gather technical requirements.
• Design robust, scalable network architectures aligned with customer needs and budgets.
• Architect end-to-end security frameworks covering firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and zero-trust concepts.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BoM) including licensing and regional components.
• Create solution documents, presentations, and proposals; defend technical positioning during evaluations.
• Articulate must-have vs nice-to-have trade-offs during proposals.
• Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure deployments match architectural intent and SLAs.
• Stay current with networking and security technologies and share insights with customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the practice.
