Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Solution Architect - Collaboration & UC to drive enterprise collaboration platform integrations, M&A migrations, and digital transformation initiatives across Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

You will act as the primary execution and escalation point for M&A migrations, tenant coexistence, and platform consolidation, while developing automation and runbooks to ensure secure and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4–6 years designing enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Demonstrated experience supporting M&A migrations or large-scale enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead merger and acquisition migrations for collaboration platforms.
• Execute defined collaboration projects for M&A integrations.
• Perform troubleshooting across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Apply policy, configuration, and permission changes with governance.
• Support discovery and readiness activities by analyzing data.
• Assist wave execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
• Maintain policy and access hygiene to reduce drift.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and validation checklists.
• Develop PowerShell automation for reporting and remediation.
• Collaborate with Identity and Messaging teams to implement designs.
• Escalate risks with clear context and impact.

We at Verdantas, looking for a Solution Architect - Collaboration & UC to drive enterprise collaboration platform integrations, M&A migrations, and digital transformation initiatives across Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary execution and escalation support for mergers and acquisitions of collaboration platforms with an emphasis on SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. This includes tenant‑to‑tenant integrations, cross‑platform collaboration environment consolidation, and coexistence models with other source collaboration systems.
• Execute defined collaboration systems projects in support of M&A integrations, tenant coexistence, and consolidation efforts.
• Perform detailed technical troubleshooting across hybrid and cloud environments, including identity, access, messaging, and collaboration workloads
• Implement and validate policy, configuration, and permission changes with strong attention to governance and security standards
• Support discovery and readiness activities by collecting, validating, and analyzing technical data from source environments
• Assist with wave execution activities, cutover support, and post‑migration stabilization efforts
• Maintain precise policy, configuration, and access hygiene to reduce drift and operational risk
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, runbooks, validation checklists, and post‑migration reports
• Create and maintain PowerShell automation for reporting, remediation, validation, and operational support
• Partner with Senior Solutions Architects, Identity, and Messaging teams to execute approved designs and remediate issues
• Escalate risks, blockers, and architectural deviations with clear technical context and documented impact

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 4-6 years of experience designing enterprise collaboration platforms
• Demonstrated experience supporting M&A, tenant-to-tenant migrations, or large-scale enterprise integrations for collaboration platforms
