Job summary

Qcentrio seeks an accomplished Implementation Architect with deep AWS cloud architecture expertise. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and governing secure, scalable AWS solutions within healthcare contexts, including HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.

The candidate will lead DevOps practices, IaC, and enterprise integration in hybrid environments. Key responsibilities include building end-to-end AWS infrastructure, applying Well-Architected principles, and mentoring delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS cloud architecture experience with end-to-end design
• Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST and PHI security concepts
• Strong Java architecture and deployment skills
• Proficient in DevOps practices, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines
• Observability and security tooling experience (Dynatrace, Palo Alto, LogicMonitor)
• ETL tooling experience (Qlik, AWS Glue)

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy end-to-end AWS infrastructure across ECS, EKS, EC2, S3 and RDS
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework for scalable, compliant solutions
• Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate observability and security platforms (Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, Palo Alto)
• Design and implement ETL workflows with Qlik and AWS Glue
• Support Java-based healthcare apps in hybrid/cloud-native environments
• Enforce RBAC, encryption, audit logging, and vulnerability management
• Lead audits and evidence prep for SOC1 SOC2 and other standards

Role Overview : We are seeking an accomplished Implementation Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of designing, implementing, and governing secure, compliant, and scalable solutions within the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of DevOps best practices, and enterprise-grade integration for healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Architecture - AWS Ecosystem : Design and deploy end-to-end AWS infrastructure leveraging services such as ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, FSx, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, AWS Glue, Lambda, SNS, EventBridge, SES, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Parameter Store, AWS Config, and AWS Organizations.
• Cloud Architecture - AWS Ecosystem : Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance.
• Cloud Architecture - AWS Ecosystem : Develop blueprints, reference architectures, and solution templates aligned with HIPAA and HITRUST requirements.
• Cloud Architecture - AWS Ecosystem : Preferred : Familiarity with AI/ML solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
• Solution Implementation & Integration : Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipeline setup using modern DevOps tools.
• Solution Implementation & Integration : Integrate observability and security platforms such as Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASv, MoveIT, and Google SecOps.
• Solution Implementation & Integration : Design and implement ETL workflows using Qlik and AWS Glue.
• Solution Implementation & Integration : Support Java-based healthcare application deployments in hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Security & Compliance : Enforce role-based access control, encryption, audit logging, and vulnerability management policies.
• Security & Compliance : Lead and prepare evidence for SOC 1 SOC 2 and other compliance audits.
• Security & Compliance : Ensure continuous adherence to PHI security, HIPAA, and HITRUST frameworks.
• Operational Excellence : Establish robust monitoring, alerting, disaster recovery, and runbook strategies.

• Healthcare Domain Experience : Deep understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and PHI Security (US Health Plans -Good to have not mandatory)
