Job summary

Valuemomentum seeks an senior Technical Architect to own end-to-end architecture for enterprise healthcare platforms in the Payer domain. You will define scalable, HIPAA-compliant solutions using Java, Node, React, and cloud technologies.

Lead design, drive DevOps culture with CI/CD, and mentor engineers on best practices. Strong collaboration with delivery, product, and architecture peers is essential.

Qualifications

• 14+ years hands-on software development experience with significant Java/J2EE expertise.
• Proven Technical Architect in US healthcare projects with 5+ years technical leadership and hands-on coding.
• Deep expertise in Spring ecosystem (Boot, MVC, Data, Security, Cloud) and microservices with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design & innovation define system architecture, build POCs/reference architectures, and select technologies for new or re-engineered products.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes) to ensure scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Engage with clientsvia workshops, discovery, architecture reviews, and presentations to align tech with business goals.
• Mentor engineering teamson architectural implementation, enforcing reusable patterns, governance, and best practices.
• Evaluate and select tools/productsto boost development efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionallywith delivery, engineering, AI, product, program, and architecture peers to ensure alignment.
• Design healthcare interoperability solutions(HL7, FHIR, APIs, EHR/EMR) and track emerging tech for strategic adoption.

Preferred candidate profile

• 14+ yearsof hands-on software development experience, with significant Java/J2EE expertise.
• Proven Technical Architectin a us healthcare projects;5+ yearsin technical leadership with active hands-on coding and architecture.
• Deep expertise in Spring ecosystem(Boot, MVC, Data, Security, Cloud) and microservices with REST APIs.
• Strong full-stack proficiency Java, SQL, React JS, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on with containers & DevOps Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.
• US Healthcare background required(Payer/Health Plan domain strongly preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving– analytical, conceptual, creative, and adaptable to evolving best practices.
• Strong communication & collaborationskills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects end-to-end.
