Job summary

Nexbuzz in Bengaluru, India seeks a Solution Architect to define and drive the technical strategy for complex, enterprise-scale client engagements, partnering with sales, success, and engineering to deliver scalable, secure solutions that empower product adoption.

You will travel up to 50% (including international), lead architecture governance and standards, create reusable assets, mentor teams, and build strong relationships with business units and vendors across global projects to ensure

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of design/implementation/consulting experience in large-scale, enterprise applications.
• 8–15 years of experience with multinational customers in support of technology and sales.
• Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development, and operational management practices.
• Understanding of security, risk, and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high-availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity.
• Large-scale systems integration involving public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture leadership and subject-matter expertise to client engagements focusing on complex and innovative products and reusable assets.
• Prior to kicking off a project, develop solution plans intended to support business investment decisions, balancing cost, risk, and quality.
• Create innovative and practical designs for end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business strategy and objectives.
• Identify, define, and implement reusable assets and standards across products and portfolios.
• Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied across technology programs, projects, and products.
• Contribute to architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities.
• Work with vendors to assess products and delivery models; assist in implementation.
• Lead cross-project architectural direction, build consensus, and provide technical leadership.
• Anticipate needs and objections; foster environment for contributions from architects, engineering, product, and operations.
• Operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams delivering quality services and solutions.
• Cultivate relationships across business, IT, and vendors to stay aligned with industry trends.
• Recognize technology trends and drive adoption into the organization.
• Advocate for technical quality and emerging technologies across the org.

About the Role

The Solution Architect will be responsible for creating and driving the technical strategy with cross-functional external and internal stakeholders. You will partner with customers and several teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions that solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our products. In collaboration with sales, you will help drive revenue growth across a defined set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of our products with enterprise customers, interacting and partnering with teams such as customer success, professional services, sales, and technology, and representing your team to executive management.

Must be open to travel at least 50%, including international.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture leadership and subject-matter expertise to client engagements focusing on complex and innovative products and reusable assets.
• Prior to kicking off a project, develop solution plans intended to support business investment decisions, holding the appropriate balance between cost, risk, and quality of the product.
• Create innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end technical solution of a system, in line with the business strategy and objectives and within the context of the technical environment — working closely and continuously with the business/client on business requirements and incorporating broader aspects such as overall product cost/revenue, data privacy & sovereignty, business continuity, information security, and integration with other systems.
• Be a key player in identifying, defining, and implementing reusable assets and standards, and be responsible for adherence to these standards and the consumption of reusable assets across products and portfolios.
• Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly across technology programs, projects, and products.
• Contribute to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities.
• Work with vendors to assess vendor products, understand vendors’ delivery models, and assist in implementing them.
• Work across multiple projects with varied stakeholders — set architectural direction, build consensus, mediate conflicts, and provide technical leadership and advisory services to the business.
• Anticipate needs and potential objections, and help create an environment that solicits positive contributions from all participants: solution and technical architects, engineering teams, product managers, project managers, product analysts, test and project teams, information security, and operations.
• Operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Cultivate lasting relationships across the business, IT, and vendors/industry analysts to maintain insight into the broader enterprise as well as industry trends.
• Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies, understand how they apply, and drive their adoption into the organization.
• Evangelize and encourage the importance of technical quality, emerging technologies, and sharing & experimentation across the org through mentoring, hackathons, communities, etc.
• Guide others in resolving complex issues in solution architecture, and solve complex, escalated aspects of a project.

Skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects and solutions with customer satisfaction, exceed customer expectations, and create and execute business plans to accelerate product adoption.
• 8–15 years of design/implementation/consulting experience in large-scale, enterprise applications.
• 8–15 years of experience working with multi-national customers in support of technology and sales.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments.
• Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development, and operational management practices and frameworks.
• Understanding of security, risk, and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high-availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity.
• Large-scale systems integration involving public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Technical degree required (minimum BTech / BE — CSE / IT).

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on SaaS products and cloud platforms.
• Experience communicating across internal and external organizations.

Location & Work Arrangement

Based in Bengaluru, India. Must be open to travel at least 50%, including international. Work arrangement (onsite/hybrid/remote) will be confirmed during screening.
