Job summary

Client of Hiringflow is seeking a hands-on Associate Solution Architect who thrives at the intersection of technology and customers, shaping problems into compelling demo-driven solutions. You’ll build demos with AWS services like Bedrock, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and OpenSearch, write code in Python or TypeScript, and collaborate with sales to run technical discovery and respond to RFIs.

This is a permanent Bengaluru-based role with opportunities to influence product accelerators and drive customer

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, software engineering or cloud consulting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and core services (compute, storage, databases, networking, security).
• Ability to write code in Python or TypeScript to build demos/POCs.
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents) and hands-on experience with them.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and tailoring messaging for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and conduct technical discovery.
• Map customer problems to AWS-based solutions and accelerators.
• Build demos/POCs using Bedrock, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch.
• Write code (Python/TypeScript) and use CDK/Terraform for demo environments.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with sales and account teams to qualify opportunities and run technical discovery with customers.
• Understand customer business problems and map them to solutions using AWS services and accelerators.
• Build compelling demos and proofs of concept for Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, data and cloud-native solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
• Write working code in Python or TypeScript and use infrastructure as code (CDK/Terraform) to build repeatable demo environments.
• Present solutions and architectures to technical and business audiences, from engineers to CXOs.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs, and contribute to solution proposals, architecture diagrams and effort estimates.
• Run technical workshops, hackathons, immersion days and webinars for customers.
• Work with AWS partner teams on joint opportunities, funding programs and co-selling activities.
• Handle technical objections and questions around security, compliance, performance and cost.
• Ensure a smooth handover of customer requirements and context to delivery teams.
• Maintain and improve library of demos, POCs and pre-sales assets.
• Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams to shape accelerators and offerings.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, software engineering or cloud consulting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and a good understanding of core services across compute, storage, databases, networking and security.
• Ability to write working code in Python, TypeScript or a similar language to build demos and POCs.
• Good understanding of Generative AI concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and AI agents, and hands-on experience building with them.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and adapting the message for different audiences.
• Experience contributing to proposals, RFP responses or solution designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities at the same time.
• A customer-first mindset and willingness to get hands-on when something needs to be built or shown.
