• Prepare architecture diagrams, solution documents, and cost estimates.

About the Role

Rapyder is building its AI Practice, and we are looking for an Associate AI Solution Architect to help startups and SMBs adopt AI quickly and cost‑effectively. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role at the intersection of cloud, GenAI/AgenticAI and pre‑sales - ideal for an early‑career engineer who loves building and wants to learn how real AI solutions are designed and sold.

You will work with our Startup/SMB sales team and AI Solution Architects to understand customer needs, design right‑sized AI solutions, build quick prototypes and demos, and support proposals. Startups and SMBs move fast, so you will be building SoWs/PoCs in days, not months, and learning directly from experienced architects.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design Support: Assist in designing AI/ML and GenAI solutions on AWS (and Azure) for startup and SMB use cases such as chatbots, document intelligence, RAG‑based assistants, workflow automation and simple AI agents - with a focus on speed and cost.
• Customer Discovery: Join discovery calls and workshops with founders, CTOs and business teams; capture requirements, and help translate them into simple solution outlines.
• Demos & Proof of Concept (PoC): Build quick PoCs and demos using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent platforms, and present results to customers under senior guidance.
• Proposals & Documentation: Prepare architecture diagrams, solution documents, effort and cost estimates, and the technical sections of proposals; assist in programs such as AWS funding and credits for startups.
• Cost Awareness: Help customers choose cost‑efficient services and models, estimate cloud/AI running costs and suggest ways to start small and scale.
• Sales & Delivery Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Tech Sales and Delivery teams; support handover to delivery and follow up on early PoC feedback.
• Learning & Enablement: Complete AI and cloud certifications, track new platform releases and contribute reusable demos, templates and knowledge‑base content.

What We’re Looking For

• 0-1 year of experience (freshers and beginners with strong projects are welcome) in cloud, software development, AI/ML or a related technical area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Good programming skills in Python and familiarity with REST APIs and Git.
• Foundational understanding of cloud concepts and basic hands‑on exposure to AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, etc.) or Azure.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI: LLMs, prompt engineering and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG); hands‑on projects using LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks are a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication - able to explain technical ideas simply to non‑technical founders and business users.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, ownership and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Good to Have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / AI Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate, or Azure AI Fundamentals / AI Engineer certifications.
• Personal projects, hackathons, GitHub work or internships involving GenAI apps, chatbots or agents.
• Exposure to vector databases, Streamlit/Gradio or similar tools for quick demos.
• Basic understanding of data pipelines, SQL and cloud security fundamentals.
• Interest in the startup ecosystem and in customer‑facing or pre‑sales roles.
• Internship or project experience in a cloud consulting or system integrator environment.
