Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking a network monitoring specialist to administer SolarWinds suites, configure dashboards, and maintain proactive monitoring across IT infrastructure. The role emphasizes incident resolution, performance analysis, and integration with ITSM workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, or Tool Administration.
• Hands-on SolarWinds administration and configuration.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python) is an added advantage.

• Administer, configure, and maintain SolarWinds platform components (NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, IPAM).
• Monitor network and infrastructure performance to ensure availability and reliability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve monitoring alerts and incidents.
• Configure dashboards, reports, thresholds, and alerting mechanisms.
• Perform tool upgrades, patching, backup, and health checks; coordinate with teams.
• Ensure ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management adherence.

Strong understanding of SNMP, NetFlow/IPFIX, Syslog, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing &cating. Experience with network troubleshooting and performance analysis. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, or similar platforms. Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Good understanding of network devices including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Controllers. Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python) is an added advantage.

Administer, configure, and maintain SolarWinds platform components (NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, IPAM). Monitor network and infrastructure performance to ensure maximum availability and reliability. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network monitoring alerts and incidents. Configure dashboards, reports, thresholds, and alerting mechanisms for proactive monitoring. Perform tool upgrades, patching, backup, and health checks of monitoring platforms. Coordinate with Network, Security, Server, and Application teams for issue resolution. Ensure adherence to ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Prepare operational reports, RCA documentation, and capacity planning recommendations.
