Role DescriptionThe Solar Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training on solar energy systems, with a focus on design, installation, operation, and maintenance aligned to industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning training sessions, preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting hands-on labs and demonstrations, and assessing participant performance through assignments and evaluations. The role involves mentoring learners, providing guidance on safety practices, coordinating with internal teams on schedules and resources, and maintaining training equipment and lab infrastructure. The Solar Trainer will also help update curricula based on technological and policy changes in the renewable energy sector and support reporting and documentation for partner and project requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mayur Vihar- Delhi.
Brief about the Position / Responsibilities
The Solar Trainer is responsible for delivering hands-on training on solar panel
installation and maintenance to students. The trainer will ensure students are
workplace-ready with both technical and soft skills by aligning the training with
industry standards and employability goals.
2) Job Description
Train students on site assessment, installation prerequisites, and material
arrangement.
Demonstrate mounting, wiring, and installation of solar panels.
Develop workplace competencies in students.
Motivate students for job placement.
Conduct internal assessments and soft skills training.
Prepare and submit MIS reports regularly.
Maintain class discipline, attendance, and referrals for new batches.
Reports To: Head of Department / Project Manager
Team Structure: Will work closely with training coordinators, placement
officers, and administrative staff.
Languages Required: Regional Language(preferred) and English
In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.
Basic electrical wiring.
Proficiency in training delivery methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management and motivational ability.
