Job summary

Mindtel, a fast-growing telecom solutions leader in India, seeks a skilled field technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise telecom hardware at client sites.

You will work with VoIP systems, PBX, and network switches, perform preventive maintenance, document issues in CRM, and collaborate with remote engineers to meet SLAs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have telecom hardware installation and on-site troubleshooting.
• Experience with VoIP systems, PBX, and network cabling.
• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred; Cisco/Avaya experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission telecom hardware at client sites.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site voice/data issues with minimal downtime.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and system audits.
• Document service calls and resolutions in CRM with full compliance.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams to resolve complex issues under SLA.
• Deliver professional customer service and timely follow-ups.

Role & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission enterprise-grade telecom hardware including VoIP systems, PBX, SIP trunks, and network switches at client sites.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues related to voice/data connectivity, cabling, and device firmware with minimal downtime.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system audits to proactively identify and mitigate network performance risks.
• Document service calls, troubleshooting steps, and resolution details in CRM and ticketing systems with full compliance.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams to elevate complex issues and implement corrective actions under SLA timelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through clear communication, professional conduct, and timely follow-up.
