Job summary

Vinayak Outsourcing Works in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is seeking a Solar Design & Structure Engineer to design and validate mounting structures for rooftop, ground-mounted, and elevated projects.

The role requires 2–5 years in solar EPC, proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, PVSyst, Arka360, MS Office, and knowledge of IS/IEC, NBC, and wind load analysis. You will collaborate with procurement and project teams and prepare detailed design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Structural/Mechanical Eng; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years in solar EPC projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, PVSyst, Arka360, MS Office.
• Knowledge of structural steel, foundations, wind load analysis.
• Familiar with IS codes, NBC, ASCE standards and mounting design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural layouts for rooftop, ground-mounted, and elevated solar PV projects.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare drawings, BOQs, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC, NBC, and other guidelines.
• Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and stability.

• Coordinate with consultants and verifiers as needed.

Position: Solar Design & Structure Engineer

Location: Raigarh Chhattisgarh

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural layouts for rooftop, ground‑mounted, and elevated solar PV projects.
• Conduct structural analysis and prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, and design reports for solar mounting structures.
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, NBC codes, and other applicable engineering guidelines.
• Perform site surveys and assess site feasibility for structural stability and optimal solar installation.
• Collaborate with the procurement and project teams to finalize material specifications.
• Optimize structural designs for cost‑effectiveness, safety, and long‑term durability.
• Coordinate with civil/structural consultants and third‑party design verifiers when required.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar structures.
• Prepare as‑built drawings and maintain proper design documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in both rooftop sheet roof and ground‑mounted solar PV projects.
• Hands‑on knowledge of fabrication drawings and vendor coordination.
• Exposure to large‑scale solar projects will be given preference (MW scale).
• Understanding of basic electrical design related to solar systems.
• Urgent requirement for pm surya ghar muft bijali yojna scheme, home rooftop solar installation expertise.
• Any experience worked under TATA channel partner in solar EPC would be preferred.
