The role requires strong testing methodology, test automation, requirement traceability, defect management, and regulatory compliance across embedded software, mobile apps, cloud platforms, and integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC and STLC processes.
• Hands-on manual and automated testing experience.
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright).
• Python or other scripting language for test automation.
• API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, and database testing.
• Experience preparing test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and team management skills.

We are seeking an experienced Software Verification & Testing Lead to lead software verification, validation, and quality assurance activities for medical device and connected healthcare applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software testing methodologies, test automation, requirement traceability, defect management, and regulatory compliance. The role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, security, and performance of embedded software, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and integrated medical device systems.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for test automation.
• Strong experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience in integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

Software Verification & Validation

• Lead end-to-end software verification and validation activities across the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and verification protocols based on software requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Ensure complete requirement-to-test traceability and maintain verification documentation.
• Review software requirements and design specifications to ensure testability and compliance.
• Identify, document, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with development teams.

Test Automation & Technical Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform API testing, database validation, and end-to-end application testing.
• Validate data communication and integration between wearable devices, mobile applications, backend services, and cloud platforms.
• Test real-time data acquisition, transmission, processing, and visualization.
• Perform reliability testing, including connectivity interruptions, data loss, recovery, and error-handling scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Medical Device Quality & Compliance

• Support software verification and validation activities in accordance with applicable medical device standards.
• Maintain verification evidence, test reports, defect records, and traceability matrices.
• Participate in risk-based testing and verification of safety-critical software functions.
• Support design reviews, quality audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Lead and mentor software verification and testing engineers.
• Assign testing activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of verification milestones.
• Coordinate with software developers, embedded engineers, system architects, and product teams.
• Review test deliverables and communicate testing status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, automation, and software quality.
