Job summary

NeST Digital in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer Test (Medical Device) to ensure the quality and reliability of software for medical device products by designing, implementing, and executing test plans, reporting defects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manual testing experience in the medical device domain, strong STLC knowledge, and experience with test design, execution, and defect tracking in Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT engineering is the minimum required qualification.
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain is mandatory.
• At least 4-6 years of overall experience in software quality assurance, including testing medical device products.
• Strong knowledge of test management, test planning and execution, along with testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in testing surgical microscopes is an added advantage.
• Test automation experience across various client software platforms is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Microsoft certifications, or similar will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with DICOM/PACS is an added advantage.
