Job summary

CIEL HR in Bengaluru seeks an experienced software engineer to develop firmware in C/C++ for embedded systems and to design software for Windows and Linux platforms.

You will verify and validate software, develop drivers/APIs, and work with tools such as GCC, JTAG emulators, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes, adhering to DO-278 practices and agile methods.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development and verification/validation.
• BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications or ME/M Tech with solid C/C++ embedded experience.
• Experience programming for embedded systems.
• Ability to trace difficult problems using tools (debugger, JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope).
• Knowledge of serial interfaces and peripherals (I2S, I2C, SPI, ADCs, DACs).
• Knowledge of GCC compiler/linker and debugging tools on Windows/Linux.
• Exposure to Agile processes and best-practice methods for high-quality software.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and security protocols (UDP).
• DO-278 verification and validation experience is desirable.
