Job summary

INPRO is offering a Software Testing Intern / QA Intern position in Pune district, Maharashtra. The role focuses on understanding software requirements, and writing and executing test cases, with hands-on testing across functional, smoke, sanity, and regression scenarios.

The intern will report defects, prepare test documentation, and participate in QA training sessions. The ideal candidate has BE/BTech in CS/IT (or related) and is pursuing or completed degrees like MCA/MSC IT.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals of software testing and STLC.
• Experience with writing and executing test cases.
• Understanding of functional, smoke, sanity and regression testing.
• Ability to report and track defects and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Understand software requirements and derive test scenarios.
• Write and execute test cases for modules under test.
• Perform functional, smoke, sanity, and regression testing as required.
• Report and track defects with clear steps to reproduce.
• Prepare test reports and maintain documentation for QA records.
• Attend QA training sessions and keep knowledge up-to-date.
• Cover basics of software testing and STLC in daily tasks.
