Software Tester / QA Engineer

Job summary

INPRO is seeking a Software Tester / QA Engineer in Pune to join the QA team. You will design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile apps, perform functional, smoke, sanity, and regression testing, and report defects with clear steps to reproduce.

You will collaborate with developers and senior testers to resolve issues, document test results, and help prepare test reports. BE/ BTech or related IT degrees are preferred; knowledge of STLC and SDLC models is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Understand software requirements and specifications.

• Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and senior testers to resolve issues.
• Document test results and prepare test reports.
• Participate in team meetings and QA training sessions.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts & STLC.
• Knowledge of Manual Testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SDLC models (AGILE / Waterfall).
• Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT queries).
• Understanding of Web & Mobile Application Testing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and specifications to create clear test cases.
