The role focuses on understanding software requirements, designing test cases, performing various testing types, and ensuring quality before release. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to resolve issues and deliver robust products.

• BE instrumentation or B.Tech electronics.

Responsibilities

• Understand software requirements, functional specifications, and product workflows.
• Design, review, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and validation testing.
• Test embedded software running on microcontroller- and Linux-based systems.
• Verify communication between hardware and software (UART, USB, RS-232/RS-485, I C, SPI, Ethernet, etc).
• Validate instrument features such as sensors, motors, heaters, pumps, displays, keypads, alarms, and communication interfaces.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking tool.
• Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
• Prepare test reports, test documentation, and release-related documents.
• Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure software quality before product release.
