Job summary

Mercor is seeking a QA / Software Engineering Reviewer to validate browser-based tests for AI-generated web apps. This remote, contract role focuses on reviewing testing workflows, ensuring deterministic results, and improving test reliability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA/SDET, experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and strong debugging skills to identify flaky tests and dependencies in complex browser environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation
• Strong experience testing modern web applications
• Experience with browser automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and automated UI tests
• Understanding of test isolation, fixtures, reproducibility, and reliable browser automation
• Excellent debugging skills and attention to detail
