Mercor is seeking a STEM QA Reviewer in Electrical Engineering for a remote, contract engagement. The role focuses on evaluating STEM problems and their training environments to ensure realism, diversity, and correctness.

Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering and can independently verify ground truth solutions for graduate-level EE problems, delivering ~2.5 reviews per week with clear written communication.

• Strong scientific reasoning and written communication.
• Commitment to ~ 2.5 reviews per week (~2‑4 hours per review).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of STEM problems and simulated research environments as training data.
• Assess simulated-research environments for scientific realism, construction quality, and diversity.
• Evaluate individual STEM problems for task clarity, ground truth correctness, and grading soundness.
• Provide structured feedback via standardized review forms to improve training data suitability.
• Render Accept/Revise/Reject verdicts with concrete explanations.
