Job summary

Clover Infotech in Mumbai (Vikhroli/Thane) seeks a Manual and Automation Tester with 3–5 years of experience. You will analyze requirements, design test cases, and perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing across insurance domains.

You’ll collaborate with BA/Dev teams, use JIRA for defect tracking, Postman for API testing, and Selenium/Playwright for automation, with SQL basics and SDLC/STLC knowledge. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools such as JIRA.
• Perform basic database validations using SQL queries and have basic knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge about basic SQL queries in order to fetch and edit data from a database(ex: insert, update, delete, merge, create, joins, select, etc.)
• Knowledge of Policy lifecycle, and Claims Management.
• Understanding of Insurance Motor, Health and Corporate LOB.
• Knowledge and experience in at least one automation tool like Selenium or Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong communication and coordination with BA/Dev teams
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and CR related other meetings.
• Perform BOT testing on web chat, Whatsapp chat and voice.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Apply test case design techniques to ensure effective test coverage.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing processes, and best practices.
