Job summary

ANSR Source, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of applications built with React, React Native, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS.

The role focuses on modern testing practices including automation, performance testing, and AI-assisted testing, working closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies (manual + automated).
• Build and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphAPI) and validate backend integrations.
• Conduct performance and load testing for scalability and stability.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools for test generation, anomaly detection, and faster coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure early detection of issues (shift-left testing).
• Validate deployments and ensure production readiness.
• Contribute to improving overall test coverage, reliability, and CI/CD quality gates.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications built using React, React Native, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern testing practices, including automation, performance testing, and AI‑assisted testing, and will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies (manual + automated)
• Build and maintain end‑to‑end test automation frameworks using Playwright
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphAPI) and validate backend integrations
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and stability
• Leverage AI‑assisted testing tools for test generation, anomaly detection, and faster coverage
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers to ensure early detection of issues (shift‑left testing)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright (mandatory) or similar modern automation tools
• Experience testing React / React Native applications
• Solid understanding of Node.js and API testing
• Experience with MongoDB or similar databases
• Familiarity with AWS environments (basic infra understanding)
• Experience with test case design, debugging, and root cause analysis
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter, Artillery)
• Exposure to AI‑driven testing tools (e.g., test generation, self‑healing tests, anomaly detection)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Knowledge of accessibility testing (a11y) tools and standards (WCAG)
• Experience with mobile app testing (React Native)
• Familiarity with security and vulnerability testing basics
• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures and distributed systems
