Job summary

Rishabh Software is seeking a Lead - Manual Quality Engineering to oversee the Quality Engineering team and guide staff development. You will partner with IT leadership to raise standards, drive the product roadmap, and articulate goals across multiple cross-functional teams.

You will mentor QA engineers, review test artifacts, resolve complex testing issues, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to improve skills and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides management and oversight to staff and activities of the Quality Engineering team.
• Mentors and provides guidance to staff; develops direct reports and ensures staff have appropriate training, skill levels and expertise.
• Works with IT leadership to establish and improve efficiency and efficacy of all Quality Engineering standards to ensure Software Quality and supporting the execution of both short- and long-term Product Roadmap deliverables.
• Makes clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams.
• Develops and drives high-level strategic initiatives and being able to roll up your sleeves, digging in and getting the job done.
• Drives and maintains the department Software Quality metrics to Topline Key Performance Indicators and Agile Quality indicators.
• Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, providing guidance on test design, execution, and defect management.
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and reports to ensure quality and consistency.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex testing issues and provide solutions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to team skill development.
• Collaborate with management to define QA strategies and roadmap.
• Ensure team adherence to QA processes and standards.
• Represent QA in stakeholder meetings and communicate quality metrics effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
