Job summary

Xoriant is seeking a Java QA Automation Engineer in Pune to drive automated testing across API, UI, and mobile domains. The role requires deep experience with REST Assured, Cucumber, Appium, Playwright/Selenium, and building scalable automation frameworks (POM, data-driven, keyword-driven).

• Strong Java proficiency for test automation.
• Deep API automation experience using REST Assured.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Hands-on mobile automation with Appium.
• UI automation using Playwright or Selenium.
• Designing scalable automation frameworks (POM, data-driven, keyword-driven).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, or k6).
• Strong knowledge of Maven and Gradle.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed/event-driven architectures.
• Proficient with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define testing strategies.
• Implement CI/CD integrated test suites and test data management.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Deep experience in API Automation using REST Assured.
• Expertise in BDD Frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with Appium Mobile Automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium for UI automation.
• Expertise in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks using:
• Page Object Model (POM)
• Data-Driven Frameworks
• Keyword-Driven Frameworks
• Experience with Performance Testing tools such as k6, Gatling, or JMeter.
