Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune/Mumbai/Kolkata is seeking an Automation Testing specialist with strong expertise in Selenium Java and API testing to design and implement robust automated test strategies. The role requires 6-8 years of hands-on experience and a solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, automation frameworks, and agile delivery.

You will lead QE activities, ensure maintainable test automation solutions, and collaborate across teams to optimize test coverage and performance.

Qualifications

• Test automation, experience in automation frameworks and test design automation.
• Working as an Automation QE analyst in Selenium with Java, Automation Framework, understanding of the web services/API concepts
• Responsible for creation of test automation strategy, collaborate with enterprise on the right framework selection and implement at a portfolio level using best practices, automation tools stack.
• Manage the QE team with the requirement clarification, automation approach.
• Develop an automated testing solution with a focus on optimized test coverage, service virtualization, high performance, and easy maintainability.
• Strong knowledge and Experience in Java and Selenium
• Working knowledge of with git & bitbucket
• Working knowledge of BDD
• Must have experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience working with software delivery methodologies (Agile)Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence
• Taking responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of Testing defects and the re-testing process.
• Validation and presentation of Test Results for internal Sign-off.
• Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skills to learn and work with evolving methodologies.
• Experienced in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories and test scripts through to test execution.
• Ability to provide updates on SCRUM calls and demo walkthroughs to operations post signoff
• Actively contributes to project/team meetings with timely updates and loops in the stakeholders accordingly for escalations.

Responsibilities
