Job summary

Goavega Software India** is seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API automation. The role focuses on building, maintaining automation frameworks and API tests in Agile sprints.

The ideal candidate will design and execute automated web tests, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate with developers to improve quality. Location Bangalore, Karnataka.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in API Automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of API testing concepts (REST, JSON, HTTP methods).
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, along with experience in API testing and Agile development methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
