Job summary

Omnissa International Unlimited Company is seeking a Software/Sr. Software Engineer (Windows) in Chennai/Bangalore. The role focuses on designing scalable Windows-based solutions, collaborating across global teams, and delivering end-to-end features.

You will lead technical direction, mentor junior engineers, participate in design and code reviews, and contribute to process improvements while handling on‑call escalations as needed. Hybrid working arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows internals and system-level components.
• Proficient in C++ development with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as gTest and gMock.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and related tooling.
• Nice to have Linux/macOS familiarity and cross‑platform perspective.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and IPC.
• Experience in network programming (TLS/OpenSSL, HTTP client/server).
• Strong debugging skills using WinDbg and Windows performance tools.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Windows internals.
• Strong proficiency in C++ development (5+ Years).
• Experience in Unit Test frameworks such as gTest and gMock.
• Experience in Windows Server.
• Experience in Linux and MacOS operating systems is a plus.
• Solid understanding of multi‑threading, concurrency, and inter‑process communication.
• Experience with network programming: TLS/OpenSSL, HTTP client/server libraries.
• Expertise in debugging using WinDbg and Windows performance profiling tools.

Location and Travel

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Location Type: HYBRID. Expect to work 3 days a week in the local office and remote for the remaining days. You should reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Travel Expectations: 10% travel, domestic/international only if business demands.

Reporting to Engineering Manager, DEEM. Team based out of Chennai & Bangalore.
