Job summary

Medpace, Inc. in Mumbai is seeking a full-time Software QA Test Engineer (Validation Engineer) to join our IT team. The role emphasizes manual testing, SQL-backed validation, and thorough test documentation.

You will collaborate with developers and end users across the project life cycle, design and execute test plans, review requirements, and help ensure 100% test coverage. Prior agile-like experience and healthcare knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile-like environment.
• Experience writing and executing manual test cases for complex software applications.
• Able to logically understand and write complex SQL queries.
• 6 months to 1 Year experience in design and executing SQL queries for database/backend validation using database tools like Cassandra/ MSSQL/ MongoDB/ Studio 3T.
• Good to have experience with Snowflake
• Experience communicating and working within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end users.
• Excellent computer skills; analytical, written, and oral communication skills; and
• Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
