Job Title: Software Product Manager – Microfinance (MFI)

Role Overview: We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Software Product Manager to lead the development of digital products and platforms for Kotak’s Microfinance (MFI) business. This role is central to driving innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric solutions within the bank’s internal ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in the MFI industry and a strong understanding of technology‑led financial inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for MFI digital platforms, aligned with Kotak’s business objectives.
- Translate MFI business needs into scalable, secure, and user‑friendly digital solutions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Analytics teams.
- Ensure seamless integration with Kotak’s core banking systems, LOS, LMS, and other internal platforms.
- Lead product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, using Agile methodologies.
- Create detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Advocate for the end‑user experience.
- Incorporate feedback from field teams and internal users to refine product features.
- Track product KPIs such as adoption, usage, turnaround time, and operational impact.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and iterative development.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in the Microfinance industry.
- Strong understanding of MFI business models, customer segments, and operational workflows.
- Experience working with internal banking systems like LOS, LMS, CBS, and digital onboarding platforms.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and deliver complex projects.
