Job summary

Embitel Technologies is seeking an experienced Automotive Software Test Engineer in Bengaluru. The role focuses on validating automotive software through HIL/SIL setups, CANoe/CAPEL tools, and Python-based automation.

You will verify and simulate complex networks and ensure AUTOSAR compliance while collaborating in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate has strong scripting skills, hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with SAFe.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive software testing experience at SWE5/SWE6 level.
• Experience with HIL and SIL environments (CANoe/CAPEL tools).
• Proficient in Python scripting and Robot Framework.
• Deep knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet networks.
• Familiar with verification and simulation tools/environments.
• Experience with AUTOSAR compliance.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CodeBeamer.
• Working with SAFe or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix/QNX.
• Excellent communication; proactive and self-driven.
• ISTQB or automotive certification desirable.

Job description

• Strong Automotive SW testing experience from the APSICE level of SWE5 and SWE6.
• Have experience in using HIL and SIL based testing environment (CANoe /CAPEL based tools etc.)
• Strong working experience in Python Scripting and Robot framework.
• Strong working experience on Automotive networks such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet
• Proven experience & Deep understanding on the verification and Simulation tools and Environments.
• Experience in Autosar compliance standard.
• Experience with tools such as, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins,CodeBeamer etc.
• Working knowledge on SAFe or similar frameworks.
• Good knowledge of full System Testing.
• Shall have a good understanding of Linux / UNIX / QNX
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive and self-driven.
• ISTQB or any other automotive related certification is desirable.
