Job summary

Improzo seeks a dynamic Product Architect to anchor the architecture and design of the iZO Platform. You will blend deep architectural skills with a product-led mindset to build scalable data analytics and AI/ML solutions for Life Sciences.

You’ll lead a team of engineers, shaping long-term product roadmaps, and collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights and personalized experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have architected, built, launched and scaled software products in a Product-First org.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years in product architecture and analytics platform design.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design a modern AI-first analytics apps platform for Life Sciences.
• Translate business requirements into scalable product features and long-term roadmaps.
• Own platform architecture, CI/CD/DevOps, Data Engineering and ML Ops.
• Integrate Agentic AI capabilities to power advanced use cases.
• Lead and mentor engineers in Python, data engineering and ML.
• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists on architecture roadmap.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Architect to anchor the architecture and design of our next-generation iZO Platform. This is a pivotal role where you must blend deep architectural skills with a mandatory background in product-led environments. You will be responsible for building innovative, scalable products in the Data Analytics and AI/ML space.

As a key technical leader, you will mentor a talented team of engineers to build a premier Life Sciences platform. Your work will solve critical problems across the industry value chain—from Product Launch and Segmentation to Salesforce Optimization and Actionable Insights—leveraging the power of Agentic AI and Big Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Vision: Architect and design a modern, AI-first analytical apps platform tailored for the Life Sciences industry.
  
• Product-First Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into scalable product features, ensuring the architecture supports a long-term product roadmap rather than one-off project solutions.
  
• Tech Ownership: Own the platform architecture, development best practices, CI/CD/DevOps, Data Engineering, and ML Ops (including LLMs and autonomous agents).
  
• Drive the integration of Agentic & Generative AI capabilities into the iZO Platform to power advanced use cases like Field & HCP Engagement and Content Personalization.
  
• Coach and engage a high-performing team specializing in Python (FastAPI), data engineering, and AI/ML. Provide technical guidance, career development, and foster an agile, innovative culture.
  
• Partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to define the long-term architecture roadmap.
  
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and technical excellence. Participate in recruiting and onboarding top-tier engineering talent.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Product Experience (Mandatory): Must have a proven track record of architecting, building, launching, and scaling successful software products in a "Product-First" organization, preferably in a high growth start-up.
  
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or related disciplines.
  
• 8+ years of product architecture and solution design experience, specifically building and scaling analytics platforms from the ground up.
  
• Backend: Expert proficiency in Python and the Big Data ecosystem (FastAPI/Flask, SQL/NoSQL).
  
• Data Ops: Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Airbyte, Spark, and Kafka.
  
• AI/ML: Proven experience integrating AI models, RAG architectures, optimization techniques and building agents using frameworks like CrewAI and LangChain.
  
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  
• Knowledge of pharma/biotech industry regulations and compliance requirements like HIPAA, CCPA, SOC2, etc.
  

Familiarity with commercial datasets such as IQVIA, Symphony, and Komodo, as well as CRM systems like Veeva and OCE.
