About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Product Engineering Manager/Associate Director to lead the development of our next-generation Analytics Platform, with a suite of AI-Apps. This is a pivotal role where you will blend your deep technical understanding of Python, AI/ML, and data analytics with your passion for building innovative and scalable products. You will lead a talented team of engineers in designing, building, and deploying a Life Sciences platform that empowers our users solve key problems across the Life sciences value chain (Product Launch, Segmentation, Brand Management, Salesforce optimization, Reporting and Dashboards, etc), leveraging the power of AI Apps and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a modern AI-first Analytical Apps platform for the Life Sciences Industry.
• Own Platform Development, CI/CD/DevOps, Quality, Data Engineering and ML Development & Ops (LLMs/Agents/Models).
• Lead and manage a team of software engineers specializing in Python (Django), data engineering, and AI/ML.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects and business stakeholders to define the technical vision, architecture, strategy, and roadmap for the Analytics Platform.
• Drive the integration of Agentic & Generative AI/ML capabilities into the Analytics Platform to enhance its functionality and provide advanced insights for adv. use cases like Launch, Field & HCP Engagement, Content Personalization, Segmentation & more!
• Ensure the platform provides robust capabilities for data exploration, analysis, visualisation, and reporting.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, Agile and high-performing engineering culture. Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize and deploy AI/ML models within the platform.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support to team members.
• Manage team workload, project timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and technical excellence within the team.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in analytics and artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of “product development” experience leading and managing engineering teams, building and scaling analytics platforms from the ground up, in a product-focused environment.
• Expert proficiency in Python and big-data ecosystem for data processing, analysis, backend development (e.g., Flask/Django, Sql/NoSql, Spark, AirByte/Databricks/Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, etc.) and front end technologies (Angular, React, de.js, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelling.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS preferred, Azure, GCP).
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications and building agents using Crew.Ai and Langchang.
• Hands-on experience with popular CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Teamcity), monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and data visualization tools. Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech industry regulations and compliance requirements like HIPAA, CCPA, SOC, etc.
• Strong understanding of the life sciences and bio-pharma industry is highly desirable. Comfortable with commercial dataset: Sales data from Iqvia, Symphony, Komodo, etc., CRM data from Veeva, OCE, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Attention to details, biased for quality and client centricity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
