MetLife is seeking Software Development Engineers to join our team. Our teams are building and enhancing software in support of MetLife’s leading U.S. based Insurance business. This position is for supporting one of our key strategic initiatives. You’ll be working on the implementation of over ~85 applications onto a vendor tool to support Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). As we build out the platform there are plenty of exciting opportunities to design for high performance and scalability. To make this possible we are looking for great candidates who thrive in working on challenging technical problems, collaborate across teams, and bring new ideas to the table. The Software Platform Engineer participates in the technical design, development and implementation of applications and may have internal customer and vendor interaction. You will be guided by developers experienced on the platform and will have the opportunity to serve as mentor for junior team members helping them learn and grow.
