Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a DevOps professional to monitor cloud infrastructure, manage Linux/Windows VMs, and support CI/CD pipelines. The role involves IaC with Terraform and Ansible, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and collaborating with developers to enhance performance and reliability.

You will engage in on-call rotations, incident management, and ongoing automation in an Agile team, ensuring security and compliance across technologies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Ops, or a related role.
• Hands-on with Linux administration and basic Windows server management.
• Experience with a scripting language (Python, Shell, JavaScript, or Go).
• Basic understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible.
• Basic experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, Azure Monitor).
• Networking fundamentals incl. TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, HTTP/HTTPS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, apps, and services for high availability.
• Manage Linux and Windows VMs including provisioning, config, patching, troubleshooting.
• Support deployment, release, and operations through CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist IaC/CaC using Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and basic Windows server management.
• Experience with one scripting or programming language such as Python, Shell Scripting, JavaScript, or Go.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub/Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Basic experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, or Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, and HTTP/HTTPS.
