Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a QA/Test Engineer in Hyderabad to drive test execution for web, API, and mobile apps. You will design and implement automation frameworks and work closely with an agile development team to ensure high-quality software releases.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of V&V experience, strong automation skills with Selenium, Appium, and REST API testing, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Competent in test execution for functional, Integration, and system testing
• Must have strong expertise in testing web-based, RESTful API calls and mobile (Android & iOS) applications
• Work closely with agile development team on assigned test projects and help in delivering quality software
• Contributes ideas on product and process improvements
• Experience working in agile environment and methods
• Flexible working on manual testing and automation based on business needs

• Essential Competencies:
• Competent in test execution for functional, Integration, and system testing
• Strong Experience in designing Automation frameworks using Tools like Selenium, Appium, ReadyAPI, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter etc
• Must have strong expertise in testing web-based, RESTful API calls and mobile (Android & iOS) applications
• Work closely with agile development team on assigned test projects and help in delivering quality software
• Contributes ideas on product and process improvements
• Experience working in agile environment and methods
• Flexible working on manual testing and automation based on business needs
  

Qualifications

• Desirable Competencies:
• Experience with test automation frameworks development, and understanding of security testing concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Interact with different functions like Firmware/Hardware / Software team to resolve system-level issues
• Interact with local and global teams in resolving the issues.
• Passionate to work on POCs for technology research efforts that result in prototypes for concept evaluation
• Working knowledge on Agile tools
