APTIV INDIA seeks an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to guide a team building C++ resimulation solutions for ADAS analysis. You will design, develop, and optimize production-grade software while mentoring engineers and owning delivery.

You will lead technical execution, drive best practices, and collaborate with product, architecture, validation and platform teams in a Linux-based HPC/cloud context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics or related discipline.
• 10-12 years of overall Software Engineering experience.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on C++ software development experience, with strong knowledge of modern C++.
• Strong experience developing large-scale, production-quality C++ applications or frameworks.
• Strong Linux application development, debugging and performance optimization experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading and software architecture.
• Experience technically leading software engineers while remaining hands-on with development.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, testing, CI/CD and software quality practices.
• Experience with HPC, cloud, parallel or distributed computing environments.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Software Engineering Team Lead - C++ / ADAS Resimulation

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to lead a team developing C++-based resimulation solutions, applications and automation for large-scale ADAS analysis. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role combining software development, team leadership and delivery ownership. The Team Lead will actively design, develop, debug, test and optimize C++ software alongside the team, while guiding engineers, driving execution and ensuring software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively design, develop, debug, test and optimize production-quality C++ software for ADAS resimulation and analysis.
• Lead and technically guide a team of software engineers while continuing to contribute directly to development.
• Own technical execution and delivery of resimulation features, applications and releases.
• Drive software design, code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Develop scalable Linux-based applications and automation for HPC and/or cloud environments.

• Support resimulation-based analysis of ADAS perception, sensor processing and control algorithms on large-scale datasets.
• Mentor engineers, improve technical competency and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, ADAS developers, validation and platform teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and engineering productivity.

Required Qualifications
