Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Simulation Engineer to advance simulation software used to test ADAS and Autonomous Driving. You will work on large-scale C++ applications across Windows and Linux, integrating autonomous features into simulation environments and collaborating with global teams.

The role requires 5–7 years of C++ experience, strong OOP, multithreading, CAN/UDP, and automotive domain experience.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on C++ software development experience.
• Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
• Automotive industry experience is mandatory; ADAS domain exposure is desirable.

YOUR ROLE

As a Simulation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of simulation software used to test and validate ADAS and Autonomous Driving algorithms. You will work on large-scale C++ applications, integrate autonomous driving features into simulation environments, and collaborate with global engineering teams to accelerate innovation in future mobility.

• Design, develop, and maintain simulation applications running on Windows and Linux platforms
• Integrate ADAS and Autonomous Driving algorithms into simulation environments

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 5–7 years of software development experience with strong hands-on C++ programming
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux application development environments
• Strong understanding of OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Multithreading
• Experience with CAN and UDP communication protocols
• Automotive industry experience is mandatory; ADAS domain exposure is highly desirable
