Aptiv is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to design and implement resimulation solutions for ADAS analysis on large datasets. The role will involve creating Linux applications and scripts for HPC or cloud environments and applying AI/ML insights to improve algorithms.

You will collaborate with product owners, define software requirements, and contribute to verification strategies while bringing innovations to existing products and potentially new ADAS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (IT/EE/EC/CS/Robotics).
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• 6–9 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in C++.
• Knowledge of ADAS systems and automotive data.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Advanced Software Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled developer to create resimulation solutions and scripts for automating ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) analysis on large datasets. This role is crucial in supporting our ADAS and Automated Driving development efforts.

Your Role:

• Develop and implement resimulation software for ADAS Algorithms
• Create and deploy Linux applications and scripts for HPC or cloud environments
• Triage AI/ML perception and control algorithms
• Analyze data to provide insights and innovative solutions for ADAS development

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering discipline (IT/EE/EC/CS/Robotics)
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming
• 6Yrs to 9 Yrs of experience in Software Engineering (Must)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in C++ (Must)
• Knowledge of ADAS systems and automotive data
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

What will make you stand out:

Experience working with Spring Boot and Struts.

Master’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or related degree programs.

Front-end development experience with React, Typescript, JavaScript, and CSS.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI-assisted coding and a track record of using state of the art tools to enhance development speed, efficiency, and code quality.

Familiar with database schema design principles, DB query languages such as SQL, and Domain-Driven Design principles.

Experience working with large data sets.
