Job Description

Benovymed is a global digital health startup seeking a Software Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack developer (backend & frontend) with AWS & GCP experience; technology architect & software engineering manager.
• Architect and deliver a highly scalable SaaS cloud platform for B2B, B2B2C, and B2C consumer digital health services across web and mobile.
• Manage tight timelines, deliverables, and high accountability.
• Develop with latest technology stacks for e‑commerce digital platforms (FinTech, AgriTech, Edutech, Digital Health, AI Health).
• Build AWS servers, databases, and code for mobile applications.
• Develop front‑end e‑commerce portal architecture, design user interactions, and create back‑end web applications.
• Ensure cross‑platform optimization and responsiveness; collaborate with graphic designers.
• Lead a project from conception to finished product.
• Design and develop APIs, integrate third‑party services.
• Meet technical and consumer needs; stay current with web application developments.

Experience

• 10‑12 years of hands‑on software product development and engineering in early‑stage to growth‑stage tech startups (preferably digital health or AI health).
• At least 2 years as Software Technology Architect and 1 year as Solutions Architect.
• 2‑7 years as end‑to‑end full‑stack developer (backend) in a single‑handed multi‑hat role.
• 1 year (optional) leading DevOps activities.
• At least 1 year as Software Engineering Head/Manager/Lead in a digital health startup from scratch to delivery of world‑class products.
• Experience with QA testing on web and mobile apps.
• Preferably 1 year as Startup CTO / VP / AVP / Chief Architect / Engineering Manager.
• Only Tech Startup IT product development full‑stack experience will be considered.
• Candidates with IT services or MNC IT industry experience need not apply.

Required Job Skillset

• Front‑end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, React, Amber.
• Backend: Django, Dynamo DB, LAMP, MEAN stack.
• Cloud & mobile: AWS (S3, EC2, Device Farm), Android, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, Dart, iOS, Swift.
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB (optional).
• Server‑side languages: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net; experience with TensorFlow.
• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Testing tools: Appium, Selenium, Robotium, Mockito, Espresso.
• Experience building highly scalable digital health/e‑commerce platforms with strong data security/privacy and cyber‑security.
• Proven record of mobile application deliveries (10‑30 apps) and platforms with 100‑500 million downloads.

Qualification

• B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a reputed institute.
• MBA not required.
