Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality Java‑based solutions for enterprise applications, aligned with product roadmaps and architectural standards.

You will own end‑to‑end development, contribute to microservices and full‑stack features, and collaborate with Product, QA, and cross‑functional teams while mentoring juniors and promoting secure, scalable engineering practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years hands-on software development experience
• Solid experience in Java and enterprise application development
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
• Hands-on Angular development experience
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Good understanding of SQL databases, Hibernate/JPA
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools

• Develop scalable microservices and full-stack applications
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions

• Contribute to CI/CD automation and Agile delivery practices
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software solutions for InterQual Customize in alignment with product roadmap and architectural standards. Own end‑to‑end development activities including design, coding, testing, and production support for assigned features and components. Contribute to system design discussions and ensure implementations follow secure, scalable, and maintainable engineering practices. Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and cross‑functional teams to deliver committed outcomes. Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote strong engineering practices, including test automation, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
