Job summary

Optum India is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with our product roadmap. You will own end-to-end development activities including design, coding, testing, debugging, and production support while building scalable microservices and full-stack applications.

You will participate in architecture discussions, collaborate with Product, QA, and cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Solid experience in Java and enterprise application development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on Angular development experience.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Good understanding of SQL databases, Hibernate/JPA.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools.

Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software solutions for InterQual Customize in alignment with product roadmap and architectural standards. Own end‑to‑end development activities including design, coding, testing, and production support for assigned features and components. Contribute to system design discussions and ensure implementations follow secure, scalable, and maintainable engineering practices. Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and cross‑functional teams to deliver committed outcomes. Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote strong engineering practices, including test automation, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
