Job summary

Trintech is seeking a Software Engineer Technical Lead in India to guide a software development team through architectural design, hands-on development, and delivery of scalable multi-tier SaaS/on-premise solutions.

You will mentor engineers, enforce coding standards, and participate in design reviews and code reviews while collaborating with Product, Security, and Operations to align technical outcomes with business goals. The role emphasizes agile practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• 5+ years of experience developing and consuming Web services using C#.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle database development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, SOLID principles, and software architecture patterns.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development productivity and troubleshooting workflows.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and modern SDLC practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in distributed, cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in solving complex technical challenges, ensuring scalable, maintainable and high performing solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production and database performance issues.
