Job summary

Trintech is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable API-based applications using ASP.NET Core and C#. You will work with Angular SPAs and contribute to a high-quality, performant product.

You will collaborate in Agile/SAFe teams, mentor junior engineers, and help shape architecture and engineering standards. This role emphasizes localization, quality, and continuous improvement within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and Angular.
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper and relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable multi-tier API-based applications using ASP .NET Core and C#. Drive the implementation of high-quality, maintainable, and performant software solutions. Collaborate within Agile/SAFe teams to deliver features on schedule with strong focus on quality, performance, and localization. Build and maintain reusable frameworks, services, and engineering tools. Diagnose and resolve complex production and application issues. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team. Contribute to technical architecture, engineering standards, and development best practices. Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using C#, ASP .NET Core and Angular.
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper and relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• 3+ years of experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular.
• 2+ years of experience with C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and TDD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee is a plus.
• Experience developing or deploying microservices architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee.
