Job summary

Gartner IT is seeking a full-time SugarCRM Developer to join our Sales Service and Corporate Engineering team in India. You will design and develop customized SugarCRM solutions, manage API customizations, and debug to introduce new features while maintaining the existing codebase.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional SCRUM team, apply best practices, and focus on scalable, reliable SugarCRM implementations across the business.

Qualifications

• Professionals with 24 years of hands-on experience in SugarCRM development, API customization, and debugging.
• Solid background in SugarCRM, PHP, MySQL, Docker Desktop, and caching technologies such as ElastiCache and Redis.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SugarCRM development, API customization, and debugging.
• Proficient in SugarCRM, PHP, MySQL, Docker Desktop, TDD and caching solutions like ElastiCache & Redis.
• In-depth knowledge of SugarCRM applications, including configuration, scheduling, reporting, administration, upgrade and database design.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong foundation in software development and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with deployment techniques and change management processes.
• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS (EC2, RDS, Code Deploy, CloudBees, SQS, Lambda) and programming languages like Python.
• Experience in Salesforce development and relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator).

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts, development, and testing to support implementation activities.
• Design, develop, and customize SugarCRM solutions in line with business needs.
• Manage critical customer cases and ensure thorough case documentation.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional SCRUM team to maintain and enhance the SugarCRM application.
• Research and identify opportunities to apply SugarCRM best practices and guidelines to improve system scalability, productivity, and monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews, peer inspections, and technical design/specification discussions.
• Handle incidents and resolutions with a focus on root cause analysis.
