Job summary

BOLD is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join the Platform Services team in India. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and craft high-performance APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).

You'll work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring teammates and ensuring reliability and security in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency in GraphQL API development.
• Strong background in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, Auto Scaling, API Gateway).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system design.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Solr/OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities
