Job summary

Strategy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chennai (WFO) to lead web applications development. You will architect backend in Java/Python and drive frontend with React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, while integrating cloud services on AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will mentor juniors, ensure performance, security, and scalability, and optimize deployment pipelines with modern CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript development.
• Strong frontend with React/HTML/CSS/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in microservices architecture and container orchestration is a plus.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Experience with OAuth2 or other modern authentication methods.
• Understanding of scalability and fault-tolerance patterns in cloud environments.
