Job summary

NIQ is a leading consumer intelligence company delivering insights worldwide. We seek a full‑stack developer to build scalable backend in Python/FastAPI and robust Angular frontend, integrating with REST APIs and internal services.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, participate in design decisions, and help deploy Docker containers to AKS in Azure. A BS in CS/CE and 3–6 years of experience are expected; Azure/Agile certs are a plus, along with strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficient in Python backend with FastAPI.
• Hands-on Angular frontend experience.
• Strong RESTful API development and PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Git proficiency and Linux basics.
• Experience deploying via AKS with Docker containers.
• Azure/Agile certifications considered a plus.
• Familiar with testing methodologies and Atlassian tools.

Job description

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Angular.

• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with Python backend development, preferably using FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience in Angular framework for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with PostgreSQL relational databases.
• Proficiency in Git version control system.
• Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Basic Knowledge on Linux/Unix environment (basic commands, shell scripting, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a Global Team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an Azure Environment mainly deployment of code as docker container on AKS. Distributed deployment on AKS, debug containers, AKS load balancer.
• Certifications in Azure and or Agile would give additional weightage.
• Fundamental understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks
• Experience using Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
